Hi, my name is Coralie and I am an ADHD person and proud of my scrambled life.

When I was first diagnosed with this ‘disorder’ it was called ‘Minimal Brain Dysfunction’. That was back in 1962 when ADD had not arrived. I think I like ADD better it sounds like we have something in addition to everyday people. (which we have). I didn’t get this lofty label until 1995, because the medical profession only believed that children ‘suffered’ from this.

Hello!, where do all these children go when they become adults?

Well we do exist and as we get older we become less AD(H)D and more ADD, the H part is hard to maintain on the physical side, so is less apparent. My history as an adult is:

Four failed marriages (inability to stay with one person too long) and many different places of abode.

The only thing that slowed me down was having children and realising I had to make a stable home for them. Twenty-one years in one place is a real record for me, and has been worth the pain. I am too old now to move on, and surrounded by too much clutter to even know where to start.

Well I don’t have what you have and that is being someone special,, because I wouldn’t know where to start with a page like this that you’ve set up Corrie. I know how to blog and make a web page but not how to set it up on twitter like you’ve done here.
    Well done Lady.
